Where were you on September the 11th, 1999 at 8:46 am? I was at work, D&B Software (Geac/MSA) watching on a TV, on a roll cart, that John Hilyer set-up quickly so we could all watch.
What a horrible day. I can still remember that eerie sick feeling, and I’ll never forget what happened that day. 2977 people died on 9/11. 265 on the four terrorist controlled planes, 2606 in the World Trade Center and 125 at the Pentagon. More than 6000 people were injured. The heroes on United Airlines Flight 93, a Boeing 757, that disrupted the hijackers plans, crashing the
plane in a Pennsylvania field, possibly saving a countless number of lives at the terrorists intended destination. Osama bin Laden’s al-Qaeda was responsible for the attacks under the direct planning by Khalid Shaikh Mohammed.
