The Omni Coliseum was constructed in 1972 with 17,500 seats. The dramatic exterior of the building is unpainted Cor-Ten steel, which has oxidized to form a self-sealing coating. In my first post, I covered the concerts held there during the 70s. When I came to the Omni, if I had time, I would eat at the Chick-fil-A just inside the Omni International Hotel.
