An American barber and businessowner in Seligman, Arizona who has been dubbed the “guardian angel” of U.S. Route 66. He is the main founder of the Historic Route 66 Association of Arizona.

The figure popularly known as “The Angel of Route 66” is Angel Delgadillo, an Arizona barber and businessman whose tireless advocacy helped save America’s most famous highway from fading into obscurity after it was bypassed by the modern interstate system.
