Clarissa Explains It All was a groundbreaking American teen sitcom created by Mitchell Kriegman that aired on Nickelodeon from March 23, 1991, to October 1, 1994. Developed as one of the network’s first live-action shows centered around a teenage girl, the series followed the life and thoughts of Clarissa Darling, a quirky and intelligent teenager portrayed by Melissa Joan Hart.

Martin Mull Dies

He became known in the 1970s for his satirical and humorous songs.

Martin Eugene Mull was born on August 18, 1943, in Chicago, Illinois. His family moved to North Ridgeville, Ohio, when he was two years old, and later to New Canaan, Connecticut. Mull’s early interest in the arts led him to the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD), where he earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in 1965 and a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in painting in 1967.

Larry Storch Dies

Larry Storch was a comedic character actor who was best known for playing Corporal Randolph Agarn on “F-Troop”. He was born, on January 8, 1923, in New York City, his dad was a realtor, and his mom was a telephone operator, both were observant Jews. He attended DeWitt Clinton High School in the Bronx with Don Adams (Get Smart), who remained his lifelong friend. Due to the depression he never finished high school but instead became a comedian for $12 a week.
