“Masters of the Universe” is the 2026 live-action fantasy adventure film based on Mattel’s enormously popular Masters of the Universe franchise, bringing He-Man, Skeletor, Teela, Man-At-Arms, the Sorceress and the world of Eternia back to the big screen in a much more ambitious production than the earlier 1987 movie. The film was directed by Travis Knight, whose previous work includes “Bumblebee” and the acclaimed animated features “Kubo and the Two Strings” and “The Boxtrolls.”
