When I was young, before I had cassettes, the only good way of making a playlist of songs was to stack 45s on the turntable. I would arrange them to play my favorite songs in my favorite order. These posts are about records I had in my stacks.
Musically, it features a slow, brooding tempo with haunting guitar riffs by Jimmy Page and emotionally charged vocals by Robert Plant.
Names of beverages in songs are sometimes used to symbolize emotions through a state of mind. There are no shortage of songs that have this affliction. I’m going to talk about a few of my favorites in these posts and maybe list some of the low hanging fruit as we go along. I hope you enjoy!

Psychedelic Shack is the twelfth studio album by The Temptations released on March 6, 1970, for the Gordy (Motown) label. All songs were written by Norman Whitfield and Barrett Strong and produced by Whitfield. Most of the songs stray from the “Motown Sound”, instead delving fully into psychedelia.
