In these posts I’ll explore some music that deals with our comic book heroes. I’ll list some of my favorites about superheroes who arrive in the nick of time and save the day. Some of these are about our Marvel and DC idols while others about some less well-known heroes. There are songs about Superman, Spiderman, the Hulk, Iron Man, Magneto, Titanium Man, Flash Gordon, Batman and Robin, the Greatest American Hero, Dragonfly, and many more.

Morbius

The third film in Sony’s Spider-Man Universe (SSU).

“Morbius” is a superhero film based on the Marvel Comics character of the same name, created by writer Roy Thomas and artist Gil Kane. The movie is directed by Daniel Espinosa and stars Jared Leto in the lead role of Dr. Michael Morbius, a biochemist who suffers from a rare blood disease and attempts to cure himself using experimental treatments that transform him into a living vampire. The film also features Adria Arjona, Matt Smith, and Jared Harris in supporting roles.

Batman Unlimited: Animal Instincts (2015)

I watched the DC Comics 2015 animated movie Batman Unlimited: Animal Instincts on Netflix DVD. Oswald Cobblepot, a.k.a. The Penguin, has just built the tallest building in Gotham City, taller than Wayne Enterprises. Oswald (first appearing in comics in 1941) is a man of good taste, very rich, wears a top hat and a monocle, always carrying the umbrella and dressed in black and white. His laugh sounds like a penguin, always teased and made fun of growing up, is the villain you tend to feel bad for.

Wonder Woman 1984 (2020)

I watched 2020 Warner Bros. Pictures DC Films release of Wonder Woman 1984 at the AMC North Point Mall 12 in Alpharetta, Georgia. Diana Prince (Wonder Woman) played by Gil Gadot (Miss Israel 2004, served two years in the Israel Defense Forces as a soldier, Fast & Furious, Date Night, Knight and Day, Fast Five, Fast & Furious 6, Furious 7, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Wonder Woman, Justice League, Ralph Breaks the Internet) is working at the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, D.C
