Griff’s Hamburgers, often known through the years as Griff’s Burger Bar, is one of the surviving regional fast-food chains from the great expansion era of American hamburger restaurants during the mid-twentieth century. The company traces its origins to March 1960, when founder H.J. Griffith opened the first Griff’s Burger Bar in Wichita, Kansas.
