I watched the 1957 Allied Artists Picture Corporation’s horror film “From Hell it Came” on Svengoolie. The native island chief is killed and his son is wrongly blamed because he had let the Americans try to heal him with their medicine. The witch doctor lead the ceremony to have Kimo killed, who swears he’ll come back to revenge his death. He is buried, in a hollowed out tree trunk, in the radioactive soil and soon a stump is growing from his grave. The Americans dig it up and soon the monster is free terrorizing the camp.
