Stranger Things – Halloween Special

This is a Stranger Things one-shot comic from Dark Horse Comics called Halloween Special. It was released October 21, 2020, written by Michael Moreci, art by Todor Hristov, colors by Chris O’Halloran, letters by Nate Piekos of Blambot and the cover by Fransesco Francavilla.

The story finds Mike, Dustin, Lucas and Will around a campfire telling scary stories. The comic asks “stories can’t hurt you, can they?” A fan of the show is going to enjoy this comic, I could hear the voices of the TV characters as I read. The comic is drawn well, very spooky and the cover is excellent. It is pretty short, 22 pages, and suggested for ages 14+, for language and scariness, and I enjoyed it and will give it 3 out of 5 stars.
