There’s no place on Earth to hide
I watched the 1986 Cannon Pictures science fiction horror film “Invaders From Mars” on Svengoolie. Elaborate creature and visual effects were supplied by Stan Winston[1] and John Dykstra[2] in this re-make of the 1953 film. The movie was directed by Tobe Hooper an American director, screenwriter, and producer best known for his work in the horror genre. The British Film Institute cited Hooper as one of the most influential horror filmmakers of all time.
I watched the 1982 New World Pictures science fiction/horror movie “Time Walker” on Svengoolie. It was as known as “Being from Another Planet“ and was featured on Mystery Science Theater episode 405 July, 4 1992. The movie was produced by Dimitri Villard (Once Bitten, Flight of the Navigator) and Jason Williams – also writer credit (was Flesh Gordon in Flesh Gordon). A secret chamber is located in King Tutankhamun’s tomb where a strange sarcophagus is found. It is brought back to the California University of the Sciences where it opened.
