Eagles – Doyle’s Space: Music Hall of Fame

My 5th inductee of 2023, in my Doyle’s Space Music Hall of Fame, and my 17th inductee overall is The Eagles.

The Eagles are an American rock band formed in Los Angeles, California in 1971. They are known for their harmonies, intricate guitar work, and well-crafted songwriting. Glenn Frey and Don Henley first met in 1970 when they were hired as session musicians for Linda Ronstadt’s backing band.

My Favorite Albums – Seven Separate Fools – Three Dog Night

Writing’s on the wall, facts are in the books,
Nothin’ lost is nothin’ gained,
It seems there’s writings on the wall.

I got my copy of the Dunhill 1972 album “Seven Separate Fools” by Three Dog Night from a record club I had joined. It came in a cover that was really a thin box that opened at the top. The box contained seven, 7″x 11″, color cards with band member photos on one side, various playing card artwork on the back.

Three Amigos! (1986)

I watched the 1986 Orion Pictures release Three Amigos on AMC. It was written by Lorne Michaels, Steve Martin and  Randy Newman (wrote the music for this movie as well as Avalon, Toy Story, The Natural, Meet the Parents, Meet the Fockers) produced by George Folsey Jr. (Grumpier Old Men, Coming to America, Clue, Spies Like Us, Kentucky Fried Movie, Twilight Zone The Movie, Trading Places, American Werewolf in London, The Blues Brothers) and
