Randy Meisner was an American musician and songwriter best known as a founding member of the iconic rock band, the Eagles. He was born on March 8, 1946, in Scottsbluff, Nebraska, USA. He developed an interest in music at a young age and learned to play the guitar and bass.

Chicago – Doyle’s Space: Music Hall of Fame

My 15th inductee, number 3 for 2023 is Chicago.

Chicago’s songs combine elements of classical music, jazz, R&B, and pop music. They were formed in Chicago, Illinois, in 1967. Chicago began writing politically charged rock music and later moved to a softer sound, generating several hit ballads. The group had a steady stream of hits throughout the 1970s and 1980s.
