Debut Album – First Song-Side One  (Part One)

You went to your favorite record store and bought that debut album because maybe you’d heard a single by them, or someone had told you that they were good, or maybe you just liked the cover. Bob Feldman Dies

Robert C. Feldman, commonly known as Bob Feldman, was a prominent American songwriter, record producer, and musician. Robert was born in Brooklyn, New York, on June 14, 1940. He was raised in an Orthodox Jewish home and briefly studied to become a cantor.

The Beach Boys – Doyle’s Space: Music Hall of Fame

My 6th inductee of 2023, in my Doyle’s Space Music Hall of Fame, and my 18th inductee overall is The Beach Boys.

The Beach Boys, an iconic American rock band, emerged in the early 1960s and quickly became synonymous with the California sound, surf music, and intricate harmonies. Comprising Brian Wilson, Dennis Wilson, Carl Wilson, Mike Love, and Al Jardine, this group left an indelible mark on the music industry, producing a remarkable discography that spans decades.

Lennon and McCartney – Doyle’s Space: Music Hall of Fame – Songwriters Award

My first inductee(s) for my Songwriters Award is Lennon and McCartney, John Lennon’s 2nd time and Paul McCartney’s 3rd time into Doyle’s Space Music Hall of Fame.

Lennon and McCartney complemented one another as personalities and as musicians. McCartney’s melodic facility smoothed over some of Lennon’s rougher edges. Lennon’s grit added texture and leavened some of McCartney’s more saccharine tendencies.
