“Money” / “Any Colour You Like” – Doyle’s Space: Music Hall of Fame – SOS Award

This “Stand Out Single” contains a bass riff that is often cited as one of the most recognizable in rock history.

My Favorite Albums – I Robot –  The Alan Parsons Project

In a matter of a moment, Lost till the end of time
It’s the evening of another day, And the end of mine

I Robot is a classic by British rock band Alan Parsons Project. It was released on July 8, 1977, on Arista Records. The album draws conceptually on author Isaac Asimov’s science fiction Robot stories, exploring philosophical themes regarding artificial intelligence. It was released with a gatefold cover where the inside has the lyrics and a monochrome photo of Parsons.

Pink Floyd – Doyle’s Space: Music Hall of Fame

My 4th inductee is the incredible Pink Floyd. In 1973, a friend of mine had the 45 of “Money/Any Colour You Like” and I was hooked. Soon, I would, like everyone else, buy a copy of the Dark Side of the Moon LP. I later went back to their beginnings, and as a psychedelic fan, was not disappointed.
