“We Can Work It Out” / “Day Tripper” was released by the Beatles on December 3, 1965, in the United Kingdom, and three days later in the United States. It was the first Beatles single to be marketed as a true double A-side, with both songs receiving equal billing on the record label and both considered strong enough to stand as the featured song.
