These guys were an English singer-songwriter, guitarist, founder of Traffic and solo artist; a singer, musician, leader of the Osmonds; a singer and member of the girl group The Ronettes; and a Trinidadian vocalist, bass guitarist, songwriter, and member of Hot Chocolate.

“Sugar, Sugar” / “Melody Hill” – Doyle’s Space: Music Hall of Fame – SOS Award

My first SOS Award goes to Sugar, Sugar by the Archies!

The SOS awards (Stand Out Singles) will go to some of my favorite singles. The rules are that the single was released in the United States, and is a 7″, 45 RPM record. While it will be a bonus if the single charted well, or has a great B-side, that will not affect the awarding.

My Favorite Drummers (Part One)

His technical mastery and dynamic drumming style have left an indelible impact on progressive rock.

I have always been a fan of the drums. I had a snare drum as a kid and one of my friends from Milton High School, Tommy Mulkey, was an incredible drummer. As a child, one of my favorite Christmas songs was “The Little Drummer Boy”. I thought I would list some of my all-time favorite drummers for my blog.
