Anita Mann

Anita Mann has been honored by the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences as one of America’s top five contemporary choreographers. She is also the recipient of five Emmy Awards and accolades from every corner of the industry.

Anita Mann is an American choreographer, dancer, and actress born October 21, 1946, in Detroit, Michigan. She was one of David Winter’s (English-American actor, dancer, choreographer, producer, distributor, director, and screenwriter) dancers on shows such as Shindig!, The T.A.M.I. Show and Monte Carlo: C’est La Rose, a Grace Kelly documentary special.

Mele Kalikimaka

Mele Kalikimaka (Meh-le Keh-liki-makah) is Hawaiian for “Merry Christmas”. In the song, by the same name, I’ve always had a mondegreen, misheard lyrics in the song. I thought they were saying “Mele Kalikimaka is the wise way to say Merry Christmas to you” when the correct lyric is “Mele Kalikimaka is Hawaii’s way to say Merry Christmas to you”

Michael Nesmith Dies

Play the drum a little louder, Tell me I can live without her, If I only listen to the band.

Today a part of me was ripped away. In my childhood, I was a huge Monkees fan. I watched every episode as they aired and recorded the audio of each with my Radio Shack cassette recorder. Following the show, I would play that tape over and over and over and over.

My Favorite Albums – More of the Monkees – The Monkees

Another of my favorite albums is More of the Monkees. Now I know you’re all saying why didn’t I pick, the first album or Headquarters or Pisces, Aquarius, Capricorn & Jones Ltd. or The Birds, The Bees, and The Monkees or Head which are all incredible and I love very much. Well, this was the first Monkees album that I owned.
