The Monkees was my favorite sitcom as a child. Before video recording, I would use my Radio Shack Cassette Recorder to capture the audio of each episode. I didn’t have an external microphone, so I would stack up books and place the recorder by the TV speaker. I would then re-play the tape over and over and sing along to each episode’s songs.

There are some songs that were bigger, sometimes a Billboard hit, in their concert recorded version. They may have a studio-recorded counterpart but the live version, in this case, was bigger. I’ll stay away from the ones that have a “fake” live audience. The last criteria, it has to be a favorite of mine.
What does musician Michael Nesmith, of Monkees fame have to do with correcting fluid? Well, his mother invented it! I usually just backspace and correct my typing mistake but, back in the day, there were typewriters and starting over was your only way to cleanly correct a mistaken key stroke. Even now, if something is already printed, and re-printing is not a choice, correction fluid or tape can come in very handy.
Another of my favorite albums is More of the Monkees. Now I know you’re all saying why didn’t I pick, the first album or Headquarters or Pisces, Aquarius, Capricorn & Jones Ltd. or The Birds, The Bees, and The Monkees or Head which are all incredible and I love very much. Well, this was the first Monkees album that I owned.
