Pandorum (2009)

A disease founded by emotional triggers, usually found in deep space missions, a feeling of fear. Thinking you can’t be saved, you may find yourself in a state of Pandorum, or extreme fear of being alone. Thinking there is nothing left, usually causes craziness.

I watched the 2009 suspenseful science fiction horror movie”Pandorum” on Netflix DVD. It is definitely for true science fiction fans and did not do well at the box office. It is a British-German film directed by  Christian Alvart a German filmmaker and screenwriter.

I watched the 2012 Lionsgate drama/thriller “Arbitrage” on Netflix DVD. This movie, although fictional, feels like a true story (and I’m sure it is a true story based on many wealthy Wall Street billionaires). It was written and directed by  Nicholas Jarecki (technical consultant on Hackers, writer of The Informers, director producer writer of Crisis). His parents were stock exchange traders and his brother is a finance executive giving him a foot-in-the-door to writing this film. It debuted at the Sundance Film Festival January 2012.

Blind Horizon (2003)

RHOMBUS

I watched the 2003 Millennium Films, Columbia Pictures mystery thriller, Blind Horizon, on Netflix DVD. Alain Jakubowicz (Unstoppable, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2, The Delta Force, Cyborg, Masters of the Universe, Air Marshal) is the editor of the film and basically rewrote the movie, in the cutting room, to unfold the story in a way that can be understood, by the audience, at the appropriate times.
