Rocket Launch 03/01/2025

As the day went on the wind increased to 20-30 mph.

It was lightly cloudy and about 70 degrees but the wind was a problem. When we started it was blowing 15-20 mph, but as the day went on it increased to 20-30 mph. This made for some really lengthy walks. We didn’t get to lauch very many rockets but as usual, we had a great time.

Rocket Launch (08/19/23)

A dragonfly was really interested in our launch.

Another beautiful day, about 90 degrees and just a light breeze. Michelle, Walter, and Wyatt joined us to fly rockets and we had a great time. We had about 20 flights, mostly all successful. An E motor got Michelle’s scratch-built Dr. Who rocket (with a Tardis nose cone) to new heights.

Rocket Launch (01/02/21)

Soggy, from the rain the day before, but a beautiful day. The temperature was 63, and in the sun felt warmer. The wind was light and the sky was mostly sunny until 3 pm when the clouds started rolling in for the evening rain. It was a great day for flying rockets.
