Peanut Butter Bars

The Atkinson Candy Company was founded in 1932 by B.E. and Mabel. The family still runs the company today. They started making the Peanut Butter Bars in 1947. I remember getting them as a child from the glass jars with lids in the stores.

They have a peanut butter honeycombed center with a hardish candy jacket. They are kinda crunchy and delicious. You can still get them today, but I have Diabetes so you will have to tell me if they are still good!

UPDATE: I found Sugar-Free Peanut Butter Bars! I’ll have to add these to my Christmas wish list.
