I watched this 1957 CinemaScope “Horror” film on Svengoolie. The budget was so low that the first director quit and Virgil W. Vogel took over. They spent so much money on a mechanical dinosaur they had to save money by filming in B&W. The monsters are either men in costumes or just enlarged lizards. When going down the river it reminded me of the boat rides at Six Flags or Disney. The helicopter was laughable flying in front of obvious photographs.
