I’ve had several trail cameras over the years and they all eventually just stop working. I think that they lose their ability, over time, to keep out the elements. This is my newest, the GardePro A3 Trail Camera (2020), 20MP, 1080P H.264 HD Video, Clear 100ft No Glow Infrared Night Vision, 0.1s Trigger Speed, 82ft Motion Detection, Waterproof Cam for Wildlife Deer Game Trail. I bought it off Amazon Prime for $60.
It uses, up to 128GB, SD card and has time lapse, operation hours, loop recording, datetime info strip, long standby time up to 8 months, waterproof. 12-month product replacement warranty and professional customer service within 24-hour. It was super easy to set up using the color LCD screen.
I built a little cover for it, so it will not have to take the brunt of the rain. The strap is long enough to go around a tree but where I’m using it there are none handy. I’m pleased so far, who knows how long it will last. I’ve included some of my Decatur, Georgia backyard photos below.
