Ariana Guerra

She auditioned for the now cancelled series Ghost Rider. However, she was told that she was too young for Ghost Rider and the people working on that show suggested that she audition for Helstrom instead.

Ariana Guerra was born in Texas and was a student at the University of Texas. She began her theatrical studies at the New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts and Film. However, she didn’t stop there. She continues to take various classes on a regular basis to keep her skills as sharp as possible. She made her acting debut in 2013 and has been working her way up ever since. At this post time, she had almost two dozen on-screen credits and had made appearances in shows like Nashville and Dynasty.

She attended an intensive[1] at The New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts and Film and continues taking acting, improv, and voice classes. Currently, she attends a Master Class with casting director Bruce Newberg, studies Anthony Meindel’s Acting Workshop[2] in the Atlanta studio, and performs short-form improv at Whole World Theatre in Atlanta[3].

Arie is Mexican-American and her family still lives in Texas. She goes home to spend time with them whenever she gets the chance. While on the journey of her career, Ariana has had to face a lot of rejection head-on. In the post for her 25th birthday, she admits that the road hasn’t always been fun or glamorous.

In 2016, she appeared in the movies “Accidentally Engaged” and “Trippin’ to the Altar”. She played Jenn in 3 episodes of “Day 5” and Liza Bits in the TV mini-series “Crunch Time”. In 2017, she was in the movie “Mind and Machine” and TV episodes of “Swamp Murders”, and “Dead Silent”. In 2018, she was in the movies “Candy Jar”, “Virgin Cheerleaders in Chains”, “Hollow Scream”, “Dumplin'” and “The Wannabes”. The same year she appeared in TV episodes of “Dynasty”, “Nashville”, and “Insatiable”.

In 2019 she appeared in the movie “Five Feet Apart”, and TV episodes of “Raising Dion” and “Adam Ruins Everything”. Arie was in the Marvel TV series “Helstrom” as Gabriella Rosetti in 10 episodes (2020). In 2022, she was in the movie “Madres” and in episodes of “9-1-1” and “Promised Land”. Her latest, at the time of this post, is appearing as Detective Serena Chavez on the 2022 reboot of the television series, “CSI: Vegas”.

  1. Intensive schools are short, concentrated periods of teaching conducted over a few days, or a single week. An intensive school may include lectures, tutorials, practicals (field work or laboratories), delivery of assessment items, and provision of additional unit materials to students. For units with a mandatory intensive school, attendance is compulsory in order to successfully complete the unit. [Back]
  2. Einstein said it: Everything is constantly evolving. So why are we still teaching acting workshops as if nothing has changed in the last 70 years? At Anthony Meindl’s Actor Workshop, the long-held illusions that continue to keep actors in the dark about their creative process are being shattered. IT’S REVOLUTIONARY. It’s what you always knew acting school could be: FUN, EASY, EMPOWERING. [Back]
