serving the film and television industries, a background that explains the theatrical and cinematic character of many of the exhibits. The Oddities Museum officially opened as a nonprofit 501(c)(3) institution, dedicated to preserving artifacts and curiosities that might otherwise be forgotten, while providing a haven for those who revel in the eccentric. Its founders have described it as

“a safe place for people who are different from others but still belong,” a motto that has come to define its spirit and appeal. Inside, the museum is divided into themed galleries, each more bizarre and enthralling than the last. The “Jungle Beasts” section features taxidermied animals

with rare deformities, such as two-headed calves, conjoined birds, and even mythical “jackalopes.” The “Weird Science” and “Asylum Room” galleries are filled with vintage medical equipment, quack healing devices, and preserved anatomical specimens in glass
