As of today, May 5th, 2026, I have posted 1,824 days consecutively. I started out, back in 2020, not posting daily so my grand total of blog posts is 2, 261, since I started. I learned with the software Blogger, but then graduated to the WordPress platform.
Most people find the posts through search engines with Google being the top, followed by Bing, duckduckgo and then Yahoo. Since I report my daily posts on Facebook, that is where the second most looks come from, followed by WordPress Reader, Ecosia, and X (Twitter).
The United States, of course, is where the most views come from followed by China, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, Germany, India, Russia, Ireland, Israel, France, Japan, Netherlands, Philippines, Sweden, Brazil, Singapore, Italy, Spain, Chile, Indonesia, Mexico, New Zealand, and Vietnam.
My most viewed page of all time is “Top 1000 Classic Rock”. I made this list after listening to that radio program on Sirius/XM. I have updated the list, since it has changed over the years. It has had 3,586 views.
It is followed closely by “The Omni Coliseum – 70s Concerts”. I had a lot of interest in these shows since I went to many of them myself. It has 3,028 views. The 80’s Omni version is also high on the list.
Number three is my post on the “United States Penitentiary – Atlanta, Georgia”. I lived just behind it as a small child, so I went out there to find our old house and took pictures of the still active penitentiary. It has been viewed 1,638 times.
Donnie Thompson, who was the manager of my now closed record store, Circle Sky Records, writes a series called Donnie’s Record Bag. His post called “Oz – The Enchanted Land of Records and Tapes”, where he had purchased a lot of his music back in the late 70s, has gotten 1,169 views.
I write on topics including biographies and memorials of recent passings, books, food, history, humor, movies, TV, music, paranormal, photography, science, outdoors, workshop, gardening, technology, toys, games, trivia, pop culture, and nostalgia to name a few.
I have my Doyle’s Space Hall of Fame where I induct musical artists, sitcoms, bubblegum music, songwriters, stand-out singles (45s), and instrumentals. I’m going to list my top posts of all-time below, as a link so you can check them out if you wish. Thanks for reading!
