It started overcast but turned out beautiful and 75 degrees. Ken, Kevin and I had some great launches, fun day. The rocket above is a Kit Bash by Kevin of an Estes Argent and Partison kit. He calls it the Silver Surfer and it is flying on a F63-10R.

Another great day, 74 degrees and partly cloudy skies, yet a little windy at times. Kevin started the day with a successful flight of his R2D2 Rocket. Later in the day R2 would not be that lucky.

What a great day! A little windy at times, but not to bad, cloudless blue sky and 57 degrees. I captured two more catos in photos and had some great launches.
NASA Mathematician Dies at 101
[From Wikipedia] Katherine Coleman Goble Johnson (August 26, 1918 – February 24, 2020) was an American mathematician whose calculations of orbital mechanics as a NASA employee were critical to the success of the first and subsequent U.S. crewed spaceflights.[2] During her 35-year career at NASA and its predecessor, she earned a reputation for mastering complex manual calculations and helped pioneer the use of computers to perform the tasks. The space agency noted her “historical role as one of the first African-American women to work as a NASA scientist”.[3]
