I have always been a fan of the drums. I had a snare drum as a kid and one of my friends from Milton High School, Tommy Mulkey, was an incredible drummer. As a child, one of my favorite Christmas songs was “The Little Drummer Boy”. I thought I would list some of my all-time favorite drummers for my blog.

I actually started off playing banjo when I was five. Had a go on the violin when I was ten and moved to the drum set when I was eleven. I learned by ear to start with, but then I got a teacher and learned to read. The story was that my family thought that as long as you could read music you always had a chance of getting a job somewhere.
