It was a hot one today. We decided to met at 9:00am to get ahead of what was to be a 101 degree day. I’m sure it was in the 90’s but luckily we had a light breeze and the humidity was only about 40%. As usual, we had a great time launching rockets for a few hours.

The TARDIS (Time And Relative Dimension In Space) is the iconic time machine and spacecraft used by the Doctor, the protagonist of the long-running British science fiction series “Doctor Who.” Externally resembling a 1960s London police box due to a malfunctioning Chameleon Circuit, the TARDIS is vastly larger on the inside, containing a myriad of rooms and advanced technology.
The TARDIS as it appeared in the first serial An Unearthly Child episode 4 ‘The Firemaker’.

It can travel through time and space, often described as being “bigger on the inside.” The TARDIS is sentient, possessing a consciousness that occasionally interacts with the Doctor and companions. Its unique design and capabilities have made it one of the most recognizable elements of the series, symbolizing the show’s imaginative and adventurous spirit .

The Estes Meteor Masher (EST 2184) was in production from 2003-2005. It has a slide action mid-section that releases three deep space cluster bombs at apogee, which have streamers attached for recovery. Amazingly they almost always land close together. It flies on 18mm B and C motors to 475 feet but I highly recommend the C6-3. It is classified as a skill level 2 kit. It came with die cut balsa fins, self-adhesive decals, and a 12 in. Parachute. Length: 27 in. / Diameter: 1.33 in. / Weight: 4.0 oz.
