I watched this 2006 Universal Pictures crime-thriller “Inside Man on AMC. It was written by Russell Gewirtz (also wrote the 2008 crime-thriller “Righteous Kill” which starred Robert De Niro and Al Pacino), directed by Spike Lee (film director, producer, screenwriter, actor, and professor) and produced by Brian Grazer (Night Shift, Splash, Real Genius, Spies Like Us, Parenthood, Kindergarten Cop, Housesitter, Apollo 13, The Nutty Professor, Liar Liar, 1998 Psycho, The Da Vinci Code, Cowboys & Aliens, Felicity, 24).
There is a bank robbery on Wall Street and the robbers take the patrons and employees hostage. Detective Keith Frazier, the New York City detective and hostage negotiator is called into action. The negotiations turn up a lot more than a standard heist.
